Unlike other fashion brands, DOMREBEL defines itself first as an art collective. Interestingly, the group of creatives slowly began working within the underbelly of the Canadian streetwear scene by creating original cartoon characters and reworking old garments with artisanal treatments. These include hand-painting, custom embroidery, and unique destruction techniques.
Now, the group’s latest collection continues to execute on its art-focused DIY aesthetic, mixing high-quality fabrics with savoire-faire applications. The pieces included in the collection feature new versions of DOMREBEL’s cartoon characters printed on sweaters and t-shirts. In addition, all of the new crewnecks and hoodies are made from heavyweight 500 gsm French Terry Cotton that is milled in Toronto, Canada.
