German fashion designer Jil Sander has joined forces with Vancouver-based outdoor wear brand Arc’teryx to launch the Jil Sander+ x Arc’teryx collection. The wide-ranging collection draws from the styles of skiing and snowboarding while building on the influence of “life outside the city.”
The collection delivers three jackets (one men’s, one women’s, and one unisex), bibbed trousers, and a one-piece suit. The items don custom co-branded embroidery depicting Arc’teryx’s signature skeletal bird flying along with Jil Sander’s go-to sans serif type font.
All of the pieces skillfully merge Sander’s minimalist design codes with Arc’teryx’s high-tech functionality, offering shoppers unique cuts made from premium material fabrics such as 3L Gore-Tex. Items included in the Jil Sander+ x Arc’teryx collection come in either black, white, or blue-grey colorways.
