Victor Wembanyama and Metropolitans 92 seek to advance past ASVEL and reach the LNB Pro A championship round.
While the NBA postseason continues, projected No. 1 pick Victor Wembanyama is giving scouts and fans an early glimpse at him on the playoff stage in France.
Wembanyama and his French team, Boulogne-Levallois Metropolitans 92, are facing off against AS Monaco Basket in the LNB Pro A Finals after knocking out ASVEL in the semifinals. Game 1 is Saturday, June 10 at 2:30 ET.
Game 4: Mets 92 defeats ASVEL 71-69
Up 2-1 in the semifinals, Wembanyama and Metropolitans 92 entered Game 4 with hopes of advancing to the LNB Pro A Finals. It was a back-and-forth battle with defending champions ASVEL desperately trying to avoid elimination. It all came down to the final period when Wembanyama put the team on his back with clutch defensive plays to put an end to ASVEL’s season and help Mets 92 move on to the finals. The French prospect put up 15 points and eight rebounds to go along with his five blocks.

Here are the results from the best-of-five semifinals series vs. ASVEL:
- Game 1: Mets 92 wins 75-69
- Game 2: Mets 92 wins 86-83
- Game 3: Mets 92 loses 86-59
- Game 4: Mets 92 wins 71-69
The championship series will begin on June 10 and conclude no later than June 20. Game 1 is Saturday, June 10 at 2:30 ET.
The 2023 NBA Draft is June 22 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
